Overview:
Taste! Seasonings is a house-developed line of artisanal spice blends crafted under the culinary vision of Chef David at Taste by Kitchensync. Designed to elevate everyday cooking, the line brings chef-driven flavors from the catering kitchen straight to the home kitchen.
Scope of Work:
Born from within the Taste Catering facility, this project showcases our ability to take an in-house idea from concept to market.
Sourcing, Blending & Packaging: Ingredients were carefully sourced, blended, and packaged in small batches under the guidance of Chef David and co-founder Mark to ensure flavor integrity and quality.
Label Design & E-Commerce Launch: Developed custom label design and launched the product line on a Shopify-powered storefront for direct-to-consumer sales.
3PL Proof of Concept: Built and validated a third-party logistics (3PL) model to manage order fulfillment and inventory—laying the groundwork for scaling.
Regulatory Compliance: Currently undergoing Product Fact Review (PFR) to ensure all labels and packaging meet compliance standards for broader retail expansion.
Outcome:
Taste! Seasonings serves as a successful in-house brand extension and proof of concept for launching premium culinary products from our own kitchen. With an e-commerce channel established and fulfillment operations validated, the brand is positioned for broader market reach and continued growth.
